Portobello Bottle Rocket Competition

The bottle rocket must be made from a 2litre plastic bottle, may be adorned with a nose cone, fins, etc, made from plastic or cardboard - no sharp edges or metal. Launch is by the power of air and water and using a human powered bicycle pump. No chemical propellants are to be used; participants provide their own launch pad. The distance travelled will be recorded in a straight line from launch pad to landing site Winner will be the rocket which travels the furthest distance from launch pad to first impact on the ground The rules may be subject to change
