Gay Edinburgh: Second largest city in UK with friendly gay scene

Edinburgh is the capital city of Scotland and is the second largest city in the United Kingdom. It's also one of the most impressive cities in Scotland with loads of historical monuments, stunning museums and art galleries, and excellent shopping destinations. Edinburgh has a vibrant and colorful gay scene. Most of the gay venues are located near the city centre at the north end of Leith Street in an area known locally as the “Pink Triangle.” Each bar and gay-friendly venue has something different to offer, and you will typically find a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

Getting around the city is easy as most of the sights are close to one another, and walking around Edinburgh is very pleasant. The city has a good bus service and taxis are readily available for those further away locations. Be sure to check out the Edinburgh Castle, which is the city's most famous attraction.
